Terms and conditions

Online psychology sessions — specialisation in trauma psychology.

1. Identity of the provider

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "T&Cs") apply to any psychology service provided remotely (video consultation) by Ben Zina Anaïs (hereinafter the "Provider").

They are intended for any natural person (hereinafter the "Client") using the Provider's services, in particular adults and elderly people.

Any appointment booking constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs.

3. Description of services

The Provider offers individual psychology sessions by video consultation, within a specialisation in trauma psychology.

These sessions may include, depending on the situation and needs:

  • Clinical assessment and psychological support
  • Trauma-oriented therapeutic support and follow-up
  • Validated approaches for the treatment of psychological trauma

Sessions are held on a secure video consultation platform. The Client must have a stable internet connection, a compatible device (computer, tablet or smartphone) and a confidential space for the duration of the session.

4. Persons requiring legal representation

For adults under guardianship or trusteeship, the agreement of the legal representative will also be sought in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

5. Fees

The fee for an individual session is set at €80 (eighty euros).

These fees are stated in euros and may be revised. The applicable fee is the one in force at the time of booking.

Private psychology sessions are not reimbursed by the French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie). Some complementary health insurers (mutuelles) may cover all or part of the fees. The Client is invited to check with their complementary insurer.

6. Payment terms

Payment for each session is made on a session-by-session basis, at the end of the session or according to the terms agreed between the Provider and the Client.

Accepted payment method: bank card (via Stripe or any other secure payment provider).

An invoice or receipt may be issued at the Client's request.

7. Cancellation and rescheduling policy

The Provider has chosen a considerate cancellation policy, suited to the sensitive nature of psychological support:

Cancellation or rescheduling by the Client

The Client may cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge, regardless of the cancellation date, including in the event of a no-show on the day itself. No session will be charged if it did not take place.

Cancellation or rescheduling by the Provider

If the Provider is unavailable, the Client will be notified as soon as possible and the appointment will be rescheduled to a date agreed by mutual consent.

8. Professional secrecy and confidentiality

The Provider is bound by professional secrecy in accordance with Article 226-13 of the French Criminal Code and the Code of Ethics for psychologists.

All information shared during sessions is strictly confidential. No information concerning the Client will be passed on to third parties without their explicit consent.

This confidentiality applies to all exchanges (sessions, emails, messages), to clinical notes, as well as to the very identity of the Client as a patient.

The Provider undertakes to implement all necessary measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed as part of their professional practice.

9. Contraindications and emergency situations

9.1 Contraindications

Online sessions by video consultation may not be suitable for certain clinical situations, in particular:

  • Acute, unstabilised psychiatric episodes (psychotic state, severe crisis)
  • Situations requiring hospitalisation or urgent medical follow-up
  • Severe dissociative crises requiring physical presence

In these situations, the Provider will refer the Client to appropriate resources (general practitioner, psychiatrist, emergency services).

9.2 Emergency situations

Online psychology sessions do not constitute an emergency service. In the event of immediate danger to oneself or others, the Client must immediately contact:

  • SAMU (medical emergencies): 15
  • Emergency services: 112
  • National suicide prevention line: 3114

The Provider cannot be held liable in the event of failure to call upon the relevant emergency services.

10. Liability

The Provider undertakes to practise with professionalism, diligence and in compliance with the ethical rules of the psychology profession.

However, as with any psychological or therapeutic practice, no result can be guaranteed. Progress depends on many factors specific to each individual, including the Client's cooperation and commitment to the follow-up.

The Provider's liability cannot be engaged in the event of:

  • Failure to comply with the contraindications mentioned in article 9
  • Technical malfunctions attributable to the Client's equipment or internet connection
  • Interruption of the follow-up at the Client's initiative
  • Force majeure

11. Protection of personal data (GDPR)

As part of their practice, the Provider collects and processes personal data, some of which is sensitive in nature (health data).

This data is collected solely for the purposes of:

  • Carrying out the sessions and the psychological follow-up
  • Administrative management (invoicing, appointments)
  • Compliance with applicable legal obligations

The data is kept securely and confidentially, and is not passed on to third parties without the Client's consent, except where required by law.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Client has a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of their data, which they may exercise by contacting the Provider at the email address mentioned in article 1.

12. Complaints

Any complaint relating to the services must be sent by email to [email protected], specifying the name, the date of the session concerned and the nature of the complaint.

The Provider undertakes to provide a response within a reasonable time.

13. Applicable law

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution before any legal action.

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the consumer Client has the option of resorting free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute.

14. Acceptance of the T&Cs

The Client acknowledges having read these Terms and Conditions and accepts them by booking an appointment with the Provider.
